A new website to give a specialist data integration company the edge when pitching for new business with technical and business decision makers in major life sciences corporations.

The challenge:

Data integration specialists Fusion Integration serve the life sciences industry and are world-class in their highly focused niche. The company specialises in providing its clients' sales teams with the right healthcare contacts through their chosen CRM systems. The company needed the new website to do two big jobs: firstly they needed to demonstrate the true range of their capabilities to both a technical and a non-technical audience and secondly they needed to look big enough to be credible partners for major life sciences firms. With that in mind, Fusion Integration asked unity*dc to redesign their website and make the most of glowing references they were receiving from their clients.

What unity*dc did

We saw that because Fusion are so specialist the key to our achieving their goal was to invest time learning about the company, the market they serve and the needs they address. Importantly, this meant we could also see which elements needed reinforcing to a non-technical audience and which to a technical one. This insight from really getting under the skin of the company and understanding their key strengths, drove the design of their new website. All of the creative work, from the design and structure of the website to the tone of voice for copy and the choice of photography reflected this.

Results

The result is a streamlined website, which communicates Fusion's offerings to both technical and business audiences. Crucially, the website now gives the company gravitas when it comes to pitching for business from major pharmaceutical companies. The site is structured in such a way that key decision-makers are able to understand what Fusion does, and how it does it better then larger, less-specialist competitors.
